Top of the class
Wallace Hall Academy has been ranked as 32nd in Scotland’s top performing secondary schools. These results were published in a recent edition of ‘Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2022’.
Our ranking in the 2022 table is based on the average exam results across Highers, Advanced Highers and National 5s. The figures have been calculated using results from the 3-years prior to the pandemic so that the impact of different types of assessment during the Covid examinations has been avoided.
Head Teacher, Barry Graham, said: “This result recognises the excellent results we achieve right across the school at all levels and stages and I am delighted with Wallace Hall’s position on the table. I believe this success is down to the hard work of all our pupils and staff in our ELC, our Primary and our Secondary. It is also testimony to the support we receive from parents and the whole school community. As a school, we will continue to drive forward our commitment to ensuring all our young people achieve their full potential. In these very difficult times it is fantastic that we can celebrate the achievements of our whole community.”
