Expressive Arts - Supporting our Students

On 25th February, this year’s art students studying National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher along with Higher Photography pupils were given the opportunity to take part in an extended study support session to get ahead with work and folios. Throughout the session, both Mrs Simpson and Mrs Black were on hand to help all pupils with their design, expressive or photography folios.

Extended study support is a great opportunity as we get four, uninterrupted hours of time to really focus on getting our folios as good as they can be as we near the SQA deadlines. Mrs Simpson and Mrs Black kindly provided delicious pizzas and chips from Drumlanrig Café which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall the night was a great success, with everyone who attended getting a considerable amount of work done. We would like to thank Mrs Simpson and Mrs Black for organising the night and for being there to assist us with our folio work.
