Geography Trip
Senior Geographers enjoyed their visit to the Solway Coast to investigate the Needle’s Eye sea arch at Sandyhills recently. The Needle’s Eye is a natural wave-cut arch which is easily accessible and has a path leading through to the saltmarsh. Eimear Hill, one of the geography students on the trip, said: “It really helped to be able to visit the Needle’s Eye and actually see it in its natural environment. It was a lovely spot to visit and the actual Needle’s Eye was very impressive. Many thanks to Mr Miller for organising the trip.”
