Sporting Success

The school year ended on a high note with an afternoon of sports. Students from each of the three houses took part in a relay, tug-of-war and mile race, and those not competing had the afternoon out of lessons to enjoy the sunshine and cheer on their friends.

The Nith team won both S2 relays as well as the relays for S3 boys, S4 boys and senior boys. The Scaur team won the S4 girls’ relay. The Cairn team were victorious in the S3 girls’ and senior girls’ relay. The Nith team scraped a close victory in the tug-of-war. Finally, Finlay Bainbridge won the boys’ mile race and Nicole McGeoch won the girls’ mile race.

A great time was had by all, especially Scaur pupils, who won the House trophy for overall house points across the year.
